KNIGHT OF PENTACLES

This card, the Knight of Pentacles, talks of an improvement in your financial situations, the only catch in it being of keeping patience.

You would need to be hard-working and career-minded this year. The approach of yours towards life should be earthy, practical and calculated.

Passion and enthusiasm are definitely good things to have- but for you, they would prove to be beneficial only when we are able to channelize them into the streams of practical and serious concerns like career and long-term plans.

This year asks you to be mature and serious years ahead of your age.

In relationships, partners who are practical, loyal and hardworking, as well as assisting in advancement of career plans would be a much-welcomed boon.

 Also, do not forget to reward yourself occasionally for the hard work you would put in, for the Knight of Pentacles does need to be rewarded for whatever it does, with all the diligence in the world.

THE MAGICIAN (REVERSED)

Beware, my dear Librans. Awaiting you this year is The Magician reversed. This card warns you against trickery and deception-of being careful about whom you place your trust in.

It also speaks of a lack of self-confidence-which could be both a reason and/or a consequence of error of judgment while placing trust (broken trusts do have a tendency to do the latter, trust me).

In turn, this would make you indecisive (a pet peeve of Librans, by default itself)-which would lower your self-confidence even more-entrapping you in a vicious circle of self-sustaining cause –and-effects of low self-confidence. So you would do better to avoid it right from the beginning itself.

Abuse of power is also indicated to be watched out for-either by you or against you.

SEVEN OF PENTACLES (REVERSED)

All-in-all, I’m afraid this year doesn't herald too well for you. It warns you of failed opportunities, despondency and self-induced money problems.

But don’t give way to a despair-just not yet. As all the reversed cards, it also has a catch.

The failures would indeed be there, but only because you would give up-when you would be so close to the FINISH LINE.

Also, you might need to set your priorities right-as this card also tells of losing sight of long-term goals.That could also be one of the contributors to your impending doom. To avoid that, you need to lay back in safety, comfort and un-burden yourself of some responsibilities that you’re carrying on your shoulder. When the shoulders get too heavy, the neck invariably gets lowered, limiting one’s sight-and thus, the ability to look at the long-term, faraway goals, that await us at the horizon. Try it yourself, someday-loading a heavy satchel on the back and looking at a far-off distance. Guess what?? You do end up short-sighted, looking only for the next place to remove that bag of sand that sits over your soaring back. The burdens invariably make one short-sighted; and decisions about long-terms must not be taken while the backs are laden with them.

“Don’t hold on. Let go and relax for a while.” is the message of the reversed Seven of Pentacles.

Losing control over finances is also one thing you should watch out against. Each dime should be spent only when planned in advance for it, and try not to get into money problems.

FOUR OF WANDS (REVERSED)

My dear Librans, this September doesn’t bode well for you-none at all.

Very much unlike your usual charming, beautiful selves that you usually are, your friends would find you arrogant, sneering and impatient.

And the damage that this attitude of yours may inflict upon your images on people might even be well beyond your comprehension.

You might also find giving yourself an excuse or two for dabbling in debauchery and moral corruptions.

The reasons behind these sudden U-Turns of behavior and living would be a lack of stability and consolidation. Maybe you have been looking for it since a long time but were unable to find it, and the despair and the sense of defeat might turn you wayward.

But what you need to keep in mind that such things are just a passing phase and should not become a part of your permanent demeanor.

QUEEN OF PENTACLES (REVERSED)

My dear Librans, though you undoubtedly are my favorite Zodiac natives (my heartiest apologies to fellow Virginians), but this wouldn’t stop me from being reprimanding where I find you going wrong-and tipping your scales away from the harmony that you need.

The Queen of Pentacles, in reversed form, shows that you would go very much suspicious, materialistic and insecure.

You would go about worrying yourself sick about the financial matters and being overly protective about the people about you-to such an extent that you have become downright unpleasant and suffocating; stifling their growth and progress.

You shall be no longer yourself-the real, natural you that you are. You would become too involved and tangled up in materialistic issues-like career, finances etc. - to take care of your emotions, and your spiritual self.

And that might seriously tarnish your reputation. People may take you to be overly career-oriented and overambitious, with a come-what-may determination for moving ahead with finances.

And that’s highly unfortunate because in reality, this month would turn you, inwardly at least, very much child-like. Your emotions would be immature and irresponsible-but not the least cold, calculating and aloof persona that you would be projecting.

THE LOVERS (REVERSED)

What an irony, my dear Librans, what an irony!!! The ruling planet of your Sin Sign, Venus, is the goddess of Love and the first and the foremost meaning of The Lovers card, in reversed form, is “This isn’t the best time for romance.”

Also, it indicates a moral lapse and giving in to the temptations. The latter might be a bit familiar to you guys because though very charming, vivacious and lively you are, with an extremely fair-minded outlook, you guys are not maybe the best people to be counted upon not giving in to a temptation of something you love.

This card may also indicate indecision, another inherent tendency of the Librans. Actually it might be your determination to be fair and on the right side that makes you take decisions so slow, weighing each and every pro-and-con so minutely that you never realise that it’s killing­ precious time-yours as well as that of others.

But this June, this won’t do. You’ll have to be fairly quick in decision-making in the upcoming month because the circumstances and people shall be demanding the same now. And you would have no choice but to comply. So you better gear up yourselves right from now on.

About your current love affairs and relationships, they are more likely to turn unhappy than not. And yet you’ll be unsure of what decision to make regarding them-whether to leave things to fate, move on, let go or try to cope up?????

An intense temptation may cross your path-beware of the moral lapse of falling into it.

THE STRENGTH (REVERSED)

Let me put it straight and clear, Librans, because I think you already have too much confusions tangling the threads of your life without my adding up one more to them.

In spite of your pleasing demeanor and charming air, deep inside you’re not tolerant of others’ faults. And while their faults may hold them back or not is another debatable issue (and I know you’d love a debate-which you like to call an ‘intellectual discussion’-on that), being intolerant of them is definitely holding you back.

Instead of focusing on others’ mistakes, I would advise you to spend this May on self-awareness.

Your insecurities and fears might be the reason behind such attitudes. But you will have to overcome this; or there’s no way ahead.

You need to look out for those who won’t be playing fair and abiding by the rules of the game. They can try to beat you by unfair means.

But remember. All they can do is to try.  What shall actually defeat you will be your own “I give up” and it shall tempt you most when you’ll be just a step or two short of the finish line.

So when you feel the most sincere urge of giving up, hold on just a moment longer. The success shall be kissing your feet in a matter of moments.

Libra is the best sign of the zodiac, by my opinion, and I really love the Librans. And since you guys already remain so confused and perplexed by the frequent dilemma of choices that life makes you put up with, I won’t test your patience any longer- except to tell you that this year is a really good one for you, especially girls.

2013 adds up to 6, the no. of beauty, feminism, luxury, peace. And the number 6 people are governed by Venus, the ruling planet of these all-along with Libra!!!!!! So this year literally belongs to you people.

Actually, when I was drawing out the cards for your zodiac sign, these two cards came up together-stuck together, disguised as one until the moment I saw that and separated them. So, just like my falling card theory, I accepted that the fate was trying to say something special to me- or to you guys, by means- and the message was too much for just three cards.

Anyways, the message of The Hanged Man, in reversed form is,

“Don’t be selfish. Avoid tendencies and temptations in that direction.”

I’m not saying that you should turn into saints, idiots or volunteers to any social service and ignore your own interests; instead, you should try to find an avenue where you can serve others as well, while furthering your interests as well(of course as a first priority).

Second thing you have to watch out for is resorting to the usage of emotional blackmail by playing the martyr, another selfish tendency. Playing the martyr, in my experience, more often destroys the sympathy to your goals rather than generating it.

You also have to strengthen our will-power lest you stand a chance of a downfall by being easily influenced by such people or lures which you could have otherwise avoided.

And the last, but definitely not the least thing, is to be wary of materialism and the inflation of ego that it brings. And don’t you Librans have the reputation of being the sweetest and cutest of all the signs???? I totally think it’s something of a reputation that’s worth living up to, do you???

The next card would be Ace of Swords, reversed.

It warns you against being unjust to others, which shall also be against the natural tendency of your Sun-Sign, as Libra also stands for justice. Being unjust or resorting to injustice won’t get you anywhere. Let everybody have what they deserve, and your fair share shall find you yourself.

Injustice and misuse of power shall bring upon you nothing but destruction.

You can also watch out for others being unjust to you as well.

Reversed Ace of Swords may also indicate to your haste in making things work. Be wary of starting a project or anything else unless you have a firm grip on the concept-the basic one, at least.

Don’t try to apply old logic to new problems. Try newer ones.

You can also expect delays in your plans about new projects, and maybe it’s the best time to rethink and ponder over them, just to be sure.

You need to study once again the relation between reality and your beliefs and ideas.

FOUR OF WANDS

This card represents inner satisfaction that comes with a long-awaited completion of a task.

This card asks you to be patient with your tasks and be sure to accomplish them with all your heart because, at the end, they all shall get completed, your targets shall be achieved and you will feel the joy that a hard-earned victory brings to the winner.

But people around you are also important to you because you’re definitely going to need their help, if you want to win.

Four of wands also can indicate a new home or some kind of newness in the old one.

Page of Pentacles stands for honor and loyalty that you should inculcate in yourself, as well as you shall receive from the true friends and loving ones of yours.

Also, this card gives a message to you as well-to master new skills, to expand the horizons of what you know, of the breadth of your vision. It tells that you’re still a novice at something that you want to achieve, and you should remain dedicated to developing the required dexterity to attain your objectives.
