My fellow Virgos, we have waited long enough for unlocking our fate. Now here’s our chance to see what the fate has in store for us.

KING OF WANDS

This year shall be of special luck to those who are in the careers of sales, teaching, coaching sports teams, and acting, singing, professional sports and most of the other outdoor jobs.

Also the life may test you through situations that demand a considerable amount of wisdom. So be sure to gain and develop that, along with a psychological balance. You’ll have to merge the practicality and flexibility with your high ideals, for it is only then that you shall be able to act with integrity.

THE LOVERS

This card has a much deeper significance, other than the obvious indication of a couple-as depicted. This card also asks you to combine both the masculine and feminine traits –present already; inside you as well as everyone else, more or less.

So apart from saying that a new love is all set to enter your life; this card also presents you with a choice as well-between your heart’s desire and the call of duty. Though you may not even know yourself the source of this love, but its entry would be undeniable and unavoidable-and so would be the test it would bring.

You would have the two ways out-you could either take a risk, and it would have a promise for the new heights of happiness and emotional fulfillment. OR if you think the stakes are too high for you to take the risk, you can stick to your call of duty; and things would remain just the same-no losses, and definitely no gains due to refusing to rise to the opportunity.

TWO OF WANDS

Two of Wands is about successes-earned; often through a partnership. It also tells about a choice-of staying back in a familiar, but no longer stimulating, environment; or making a change-on just a chance of finding what you are looking for, with a certainty of losing what you  already have. It asks you a very simple question, “Are the stakes high enough for you to take the risk?” It hints of some promises without any guarantee of their delivery.

The constraint, of a now-no-more-stimulating environment, could be coming from anywhere-home, job, or even a picture-perfect relationship.

For ensuring success, it wouldn't hurt to ensure working in a partnership instead of the preferred lone-wolf tendency that we, the Virgos, proudly nurture. Even though we may end up doing everything that is there to be done in the partnership, but still, the presence of Two of Wands is an indication that still, it would be more profitable for ourselves to work with someone rather than alone.

KNIGHT OF PENTACLES

Congratulations, fellow Virgos. If nothing else, at least one of our major problems can see a bright streak now-the money.

This card, the Knight of Pentacles, talks of an improvement in our financial situations, the only catch in it being of keeping patience-which shouldn’t be an issue for us­, as we are one of the most patient zodiac natives that are out there, to be seconded by nobody but maybe the Taurean bulls.

But we aren’t counting infinity among numbers, aren’t we?? Because the Taureans indeed have an infinite amount of patience.

But there’s a bad side to it too. The notorious stubbornness of Taureans is also nothing but their patience-turned inside out.

We would need to be hard-working and career-minded this month. And I can totally relate to it, as my own exams are looming over now, closer than ever, along with deadlines for submission of various other projects too.

The approach of ours towards life should be earthy, practical and calculated.

Passion and enthusiasm are definitely good things to have- but for us, they would prove to be beneficial only when we are able to channelize them into the streams of practical and serious concerns like career and long-term plans.

This month asks us to be mature and serious years ahead of our age.

In relationships, partners who are practical, loyal and hardworking, as well as assisting in advancement of career plans would be a much-welcomed boon.

Financial discipline as well as material rewards for the efforts that we so diligently put in everything we do-no matter how trivial it is for others-also must accompany us this month.

ACE OF WANDS

Once again, if the natives of other sun positions would excuse me, I would be reverting from “you” to “we” and from “your” to “our”; the reason being a very simple one-to show my special solidarity and empathy to the Virginians, for I happen to be one of them.

The Ace of Wands, at least on the preliminary level, is basically a very simple and basic card. Aces mean new and Wands indicate ideas.

So the primary meaning of this card, Ace of Wands, is simply -“There’s a new idea waiting for you out there; waiting for you to start working on it.”

Furthermore, since it came out in upright position, so we need not fear much. The result is assured to turn out to be good, and the hassling complications aroused by the reversed card-especially a basic one like this- have spared us.

Also, the Ace of Wands also tells us that we would do well do be creative and original about this idea. I know that it’s a bit difficult, but aren’t we, the Virgos, the last people one would ever expect to run away from hardships???

Besides, it also suites our perfectionist mind to be original, isn't it?

                      

Ace of Wands is also a card of travel. So it might be that this idea of ours may take us for a travel as well.

In your career, you might get to start something new as well. Maybe you might move to a new job. Or you may step to a new level or position (presumably a higher one than previous, as the card stands not reversed but upright) in the same organization or institution that you are working with right now.

You may even get a new project to work on, covering one or more-maybe even all- the aspects of this card.

You might get to travel for it, you may step onto a new level (get promoted or get transferred, to a new department or a new place) and you would then definitely need some new ideas for the job.

KING OF CUPS (REVERSED)

This time again I’ll be using ‘we’ instead of ‘you’; because Virgo is my own Sun Sign too.

OK guys, we all need to gear up our diplomacy and tact a bit-not too much because a great deal of it we always practice in everything we do, except when we criticize for a criticism is the most natural thing for Virgos, even more characteristically easy than bring shy or laid back.

We need this diplomacy and tact because King of cups tells us that these traits would be of great use to us this June. We’ll find ourselves caught up in a situation; no matter how hard do we try to avoid it, where we shall have to act as a mediator between two opposite parties or factions of a dispute, argument or conflict.

But be warned in advance. The being reversed of this card tells that most probably we would not be able to persuade the abovementioned rivals to come to an understanding or ceasefire at least.

But that doesn’t mean that we should give up or not try. We might still be able to ensure that minimum damage is caused by the conflict or the factions hurt each other the least.
                                                                  

This card also talks of emotional hardships in our own lives this June. But they shouldn’t become our excuse to get sulky or withdraw from people just because certain people didn’t act the way we wanted them to or because our emotional egis were not appeased.

The anger that we’ll feel, and shall try to hide behind apathy and a mild depression, shall need to be vented out through an outlet before our creative energies can flow through our grey matter.

Our success shall be thwarted by none other than our own hidden motives and blocked creativity.

We’ll get into so dark and negative a mood that we might be sabotaging our own attempts at success, subconsciously. And if given a chance, we may do the same to some other person who tries to help us to succeed.

And this is something we shall need to seriously work on avoiding this June.

And one more thing, though we may pride ourselves on the fierce control that we exercise on our emotions but the upcoming month is the time to let our hair down a bit, figuratively.

This over control of feelings could stop us from expressing the truth of our feelings and desires. And this is most undesirable.

This might not only stifle our emotional self and cause the abovementioned anger, apathy and depression but someone who gets to know of this emotional weakness of ours can use this knowledge or emotional blackmail to control us.

This June, it’s time to open up and focus on real wisdom, which means that we might have to accept and be aware of not only our assets and strengths but our weaknesses and liabilities as well. And we should be able to work with the last two, to be really wise.

We need to unblock our emotional needs and be tolerant of others.

We need to make an extra effort in order to take control of our own lives; not letting others dictate what we do and how do we do it.

We may feel confused by the choices life has to offer to us.  For this reason we may feel reluctant to accept and commit; and pretend to prefer the freedom.

We’ll be full of ideas-creative, promising ones, regarding the future- but we need to learn that words alone don’t give desired results.

They need to be transformed into actions as well.

SIX OF CUPS

 OK, this is an emotional card and heralds some emotional times for us. We need to return to the happy places of the past; for example, to the place where we spent our childhood or any other familiar places. OR it may mean returning to familiar routine or career. It may also mean gathering together the left behind emotional and spiritual bits of our selves.

Six of Cups is a card of happy memories and harmony. After getting grazed, emotionally, this card is about applying the tincture of happy memories and harmony to the wounds of our heart and soul as we heal and re-collect our energies.

It’s all about rest-rest as valuable as the growth that we Virgos consistently pursue.

We need it glance back and rejoice at the rewards and sweet memoirs of the past as well as to take a brief glimpse at the way ahead and establish our long-term aspirations.

THE HANGED MAN (REVERSED)

OK, very straight I shall be, for that’s how we Virgos like it- Don’t be selfish. Avoid tendencies and temptations in that direction.

After all, our sun-sign Virgo is the sign of service to others, and it shall do to us no good to be acting in a way that’s entirely opposite to our innate, set by destiny, nature.

I’m not saying that we should turn into saints, idiots or volunteers to any social service and ignore our own interests; instead, we should try to find an avenue where we can serve others as well, while furthering our interests as well(of course as a first priority).

Second thing we have to watch out for is resorting to the usage of emotional blackmail by playing the martyr, another selfish tendency. Playing the martyr, in my experience, more often destroys the sympathy to our goals rather than generating it.

We also have to strengthen our will-power lest we stand a chance of a downfall by being easily influenced by such people or lures which we could have otherwise avoided.

And the last, but definitely not the least thing, is to be wary of materialism and the inflation of ego that it brings. And don’t we Virgos have the reputation of being the most humble and meekest of all the signs???? I totally think it’s something of a reputation that’s worth living up to, do you???

FIVE OF CUPS (REVERSED)

 This is for our liberation from the anguish and the sense of loss we incurred in the past, and our willingness to look inside for the sources of emotional and spiritual fulfillment.

This card asks us to realize that the losses we suffered in the past were, no doubt, irreparable and the wounds run deep; but the stream of life cannot be blocked from running its course. Besides, the life does have some more things to offer to us.

We HAVE to walk back into life now!!!!!!!
